Monday wrap up

While most people are off today enjoying their Memorial Day cookouts, it's business as usual for the rest of us. I hope those that celebrated Hip Hop Appreciation Week did it big and of course caught my Greatest of Hip Hop list had fun making the list, you can click here for the link. I got asked everything from "Why didn't you do a Top 5 MCs?" to "Why did you say Warren G's album is great but you didn't have a single Eminem album listed?" Remember, I only named 40 albums I personally thought were great out of thousands. But I do appreciate the responses I got from my list, I think I will make it an annual thing and maybe change the titles. Now for the record I think when you say MC most people name 5-10 off the rip but they never include females. I will not give you a list, however, I will say I have KRS-One as my #1 male MC and Lauryn Hill as my #1 female MC. Now watch how that recent statement have people fill up my inbox with comments by tomorrow lol Also I will be making an announcement later on this week which should be enticing for my real fans out there. But until then I will see ya when I see ya.

I love HHAW

HHAW is coming next month and I'm excited. Every year I celebrate but I wanted to do something different for 2013. After all Hip Hop recently turned 40 years old. So I'm putting together my "Greatest of Hip Hop" lists and some other interesting posts to show my appreciation for this culture of ours. See you the 3rd week in May.

PRICE / PITTS Presents THE HITS

What's up world! I was going through my Discography the other day and noticed just how many songs I have with my good friend Jaelle Pitts and figured I would put together a mini-LP for our fans while we continue working on new music. Keep in mind these songs have been previously released but these songs are so good it's like hearing it for the first time. Over the years we recorded many songs together but I only picked the best for THE HITS. Who knows, maybe one day in the near future we will actually do a full album together. Until my next post enjoy the music.

FREE DOWNLOAD on SoundCloud!!

Songs include:  Fade 'em All, Ill or Not, SupaProducer, NLU Radio, Mind Blowing, Critically Acclaimed,  We Chosen, Party With Me, Funky Fresh and more.

TREMORS ...10 years later.

Although I started working on my first solo album "The Revival" back in 1997, it wasn't until 2003 when I released my first offering to Hip Hop in the form of "Tremors".  Now this album was a classic on many accords and held by many to be a very universal album with such favorites as "Party With Me" and "Rock On". This album set the tone for every solo project that followed including the upcoming CHAMPION. In March look for an exclusive interview breaking down TREMORS as well as previous unreleased songs that were recorded.
